The Children’s Centres at Beacon Heath and Whipton are part of the national scheme to offer flexible, fully funded places for 2 year olds living in households with low incomes.
The Children’s Centres are registered for full day care during term time to support your child’s learning through play and other activities.
Family support includes tips on how to support your child’s learning at home, parenting advice and information regarding safety in the home, amongst other things. Parents can also access a range of other support from training courses to adult learning.
The scheme is open to families on income support, or on a low income who could benefit from the extra support. For further information about the scheme, including details of the other childcare providers,
